Of-course it was dramatic, story telling should be! I can't tell you how many "omg this civic came up and was like a punk so I like floored it and then I totally had him by like a dozen car lengths and his girl was all looking at my car and he was mad and took the next exit" stories get posted up. You should be telling a story to try and put the listener/reader into your shoes, make them FEEL what you felt, EXPERIENCE what you experienced. That is the dividing line between story-teller and braggart. ...also were there any more "action" to it than one car doing a 4th gear, sub-90mph pull past another, it wouldn't have happened on the street. The story's driver attended as well, burned ~15 gallons in 2+hrs on the track in his own 7m swapped car that day... I see my little "story" has been cross-posted, car make/model can be ignored if it causes you difficulty. In short, there was no race, only one car doing half a 4th gear pull past another (if it even happened at all). Simply said, if you enjoy the feeling of driving boosted cars you should be able to find some connection to the story, apologies otherwise. --billyM (have enjoyed browsing the numerous accomplishments on this forum's members over the last couple hours. 300rwhp+ on tbi, multiple 400rwhp+ members on the stock sohc head.
