  1. Seats went in another car. Driver side cooler is bent pretty bad, but not leaking. How do I add pictures?
  2. I am parting out a 1989 Automatic Conquest. The car had a blown head gasket when I got it. I have stripped the car mostly and need to get rid of the body shell fairly soon. I have another 89 and two 87's that I was keeping some of the parts for, but will consider getting rid of all parts and cars.
  3. $2200 for the Black Car. I dont remember any rust on it. I will look it over closer tomorrow to make sure. I started making an elaborate mold from a new front air dam a few years ago. If I ever finish it up, I should be able to provide air dams at a reasonable price, but that is not very high on my priority list right now.
  4. I am considering selling all of my Conquests and Conquest parts. I have a Red 1989 Automatic car for parts. 102K miles. When I got it, it was complete except the left front fender. The engine was stuck from water in the cylinders. The head was a recent rebuild. The engine was removed and disassembled, and the interior has been pretty much gutted. I still have all of the parts. The black car is a 1987 5 speed. Interior is black velour. This car has about 120K miles. When I got it the clutch was slipping and the timing chain was making noise. I installed a new clutch and new timing set with balance shaft eliminator kit. The brakes were dragging also, and I installed 4 new calipers. It seems OK to drive now, but I have never put tags on it or driven it other than up and down the driveway. Clearcoat is peeling and needs a paint job. Has SHP wheels all the way around. The white car is a 1989 5 speed with factory sunroof. This car has black leather interior. I have used this car as a driver for the last several years and still drive it. I installed trilogy turbo injectors on it last year. Otherwise it is all stock. Has small dents all over, mostly on most top surfaces. Maybe hail damage? AC was converted to 134a and worked last year, but not this year. Original factory paint on most of the car. Mileage is approx 165K. I also have 2 pickup truck loads of parts from other conquests that I got when I bought the first one. Those parts I think are from 1987 cars. I would prefer to sell everything as a package deal for $5000. If I have to split them up, the white one will be the last to go.   5. I am parting out a 1989 conquest with auto trans. Head gasket was blown and engine sat with water in it. Missing Left front fender. Also have a truckload of parts from an 87 conquest. Email with needs, and I will check to see if I still have it.
  6. I read alot on here about leaking injectors. What are the symptoms of a leaking injector? My car runs great under all conditions, but has to crank over about 5-7 seconds to start after it's been sitting a while. Does this sound like a leaking injector? I pulled them out a few months ago, hooked up a line filled with sea foam injector cleaner, applied air pressure, and actuated the injector with a power supply. Both injectors seemed to function OK, but no improvement after cleaning. Any Ideas?

  8. Its all stock body. I have 225-50's on 8" wheels up front.
  9. Does anyone know what tire sizes will fit the widebody conquest with 9" wheels on the back? Mine currently has 245-45-16's that need replacing. I have read that they came with 255-45-16, but I cant find those available anywhere. I have found 265-45-16's, but they are pricey. I also found 255-50-16. What seems to work well? Thanks
  10. I am new to starquests, but have restored cars for many years. I now have 3 conquests. 2 89's and an 87 I just got yesterday. My question is on an 89 that I use as a daily driver. Under acceleration, at around 3000 rpm and as boost is building, I get a very noticable buck for about a quarter of a second, then it continues to accelerate fairly smoothly. Does anyone know what causes this? Thanks in advance.
