  1. im having a problem with my 88 quest automatic. i just had my alternator replaced but the alternator used was one that was off of an old mightymax truck (65 amp) ever since i had the orig replaced the trans keeps feeling like its slipping and my boost starts building up when im just cruising (under 35) and it takes (forever to make it to 35 ) and when i try to accelerate any faster she starts to slip after she slips right after she gets to second gear at around 2500-3000 RPM . this is confusing! it is either a surge for more power for the boost or my trans is messed up im not sure.ant infowould be GREAT
  2. 60kTSI: a few monthes ago right after i bought my quest i spotted a 2010 camaro in town so i followed them for about 2 miles and we started racing down 245 in ohio . i took him around 90 mph and i look in my rearveiw hes lke 2 miles behind me so i slowed down and waited, then i did it agian at 110 mph he couldnt keepup. i was laughingmy a** off. who else here has tooken a new camaro with a "stock" conquest?

i dont think the eclipse will fit????more amp????

i have seen guys upgrade to a gm conversion

but we know how you feel about gm,,,but it looks like an easy conversion..plus you can buy a one

wire,,,,meaning run a single wire from the alternator to the battery and your done

must have been one heck of a straight-a-way for you to see him 2 miles behind you..

yeah he new we was racing. yeah 245 is pretty straight. i dont know what it had in it. he could have sand bagged a lil bit.

  6. i got a question arent those 87 seats? because i have an 88 tsi and it has completely different looking seats . and for some odd reasonmy 88 starion has those 87 style seats. and most starions and conquests i have seen made in 88 they have been the same as mine
  7. OK, well, today Maxzillian and myself found ourselves at a gun show, and we both wound up buying weaponry. Now....we both think our guns are totally what we want, and we like our guns, however, we are having somewhat of a flap about the each of them.

So, you can decide....or you can help us decide.

    Here's the gun I bought, it's the modern warfare. It's a Tanfoglio .45 ACP.

this gun is sweet but old school is always better!

Here's Max's piece, it is, of course, the Roscoe, better known as a Bisley .45 Colt single action revolver.

That said, which of these guns do you prefer?

    Tim

everytime i see one of these guns it makes me think dirty hairy!

EDIT: Had the name of Max's Roscoe wrong.
