  1. Yea i actually still have the tranny. I can't be sure of its condition as I had never driven the car. I an also going to be selling the block and head after i yank the motor out. I still do not have the motor out of the car yet so it might be a little bit before i can get the tranny out. How quick do you need the tranny?

well I need it as soon as I can get it, I still have to pull mine too. PM me with what your thinking. Thanks again.

  2. Looks like I jumped the gun and sent the last message without reading all of your post! 100.00 sounds good to me. Sorry about that. Do you still have the auto transmission? I need it bad! I can pick it up asap. Please send me a message if you still got it. Thanks again!
  3. Hello, I'm looking for A Stock TD05-12a in good shape for my 88 Quest. Looks like mine is done for, I'm sure it could be rebuilt but it ate up the compressor blades and that wouldneed to be replaced as well. So if I could find a used one cheaper than the rebuild would be that would be great. Let me know what you got. Thanks.
  4. Well I'm looking for 0.9v at the ISC after doing the adjustment to the TPS. I have bypassed the yellow/red wire to ground to lock the ISC in "perfect idle mode" and performed all the steps in the ISC/TPS procedure. But when testing the green + black - on the MPS I am only coming up whith .04v I can hear the ISC "zip" when the key is cycled. but under warmed up idle it takes a few seconds to drop the idle down after you bump the gas. I'm thinking that this is do to the low voltage. Thanks again guys.

  5. Hey all! The quest has been on the road for months without a problem, then I washed it! Just kidding, I did some extensive work. got it back together, and all is well but I'm only getting 0.4v at the ISC. It's doing what it should as far as voltage with key on/no signal key off, but it's low. So it needs re-wired. If any one could point me in the right direction as far as pin location on the ECM/Harness? Thanks in advance.
  6. Hello everybody, just a quick question dose anybody know where the starter relay is located on a 88 quest? I am having a problem with starting after driving. I have replaced the starter twice and still have the same problem. I can hear the relay when I turn the key, but that's about it. Let it sit awhile and presto it starts. Any thoughts would help

    Thanks.

  7. So somebody backed into my quest when it was parked!!! Ah city livin'. Anyway I need the front body panel the one between the headlights above the grill. the one that says conquest on it. I don't care about color or if it has the Mitsu stuff on it.

Let me know what you have and how much you want.

    Thanks

    Eli

  8. Well everybody I am back with some updates. O.k. first off looks like part of my problem was a short in the ICS plug/harness. soldered it up and it helped, But still not right. fabricated a coupler from the turbo to the accordion Just to make sure it was totally air tight. Before installing the accordion I plugged all the holes and pressurized it, all good there. still not running right. performed the ICS,TPS adjustments as found in the FAQ section [Hence finding the short in the ICS plug] now, when adjusting the TPS rotating it as far as i could The closest i could get it was 4.80 volts. It is only .20 off, but sometimes an inch is a mile. Do you think this is to big of a variance? settled for 4.80, buttoned it up and gave it a shot. still not right. I took the advice of my parts supplier and got some autolite plugs, and from what i have read NGK plugs are the only way to go. Gonna slap a set in in a few days, after i get the injector seal kit i have on order. I broke one of the isolator/sealer bushings on the primary, so she is dead in the water until Friday. one step forward two steps back! it's alot better but still not right.

    I will keep yall informed

    E.
