  1. Wow. Suddenly I am inundated by tons of PM's and e-mails lol. Brian DID come to see it and he DID put money down on the car last night, so the sale is pending.
  2. Car is back up on the market. Any questions or additional details, please e-mail me: PntShocker@aol.com as that's the easiest way to contact me due to work/school. Thanks.
  3. Replied to all PM's. Sorry, haven't been on here in a week.
  4. $1750! If it doesn't sell, I guess I'll get it up and running once my buddy returns from FL in a couple weeks lol.
  5. I have a guy coming down from NY with a trailer to look at it. Would prefer it to go to someone here as I know it'd be treated nicely. But the car has to be gone by the end of this month...
  6. Unfortunately I don't have the free time to pull the motor & trans. Car has to be gone by the end of this month or it's going into long-term storage. Sooner = better.
  7. Wanted to add that "Semi-Race Suspension" is: Tokico Blue Shocks, Eibach Springs, HD sway bars, all poly bushings.
  8. At this point I am not looking to part it out or do any parts swaps. I really need it gone ASAP before it gets towed to my house as I really have no room for it.
  9. At this point I don't have the time, money, and especially room for it, that's why I'm willing to trade, but only for a motorcycle now. I've got a built Jeep Wrangler, a Chevy Silverado, my motorcycle, then my roommates Jeep Cherokee, Jeep Comanche, his motorcycle, and my other roommates E30 M3, E30 3 series, and Dodge truck in our driveway lol. No space here for it and my buddies mom wants it out of their driveway. It really stinks as I love this car, but without those 3 things I listed, not much can be accomplished. Oh, btw, $2500 obo.
  10. Name: Rick R Location: Exton, PA 19341 Contact Info: Year: 1987 Make: Chrysler Model: Conquest TSi Widebody RWD Color: Red Mileage: 125k Transmission: Manual !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!SOLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Description: Long story short... I bought this from a friend of mine who spun a bearing earlier this year. He sent the motor off to Blitz Performance in Kennett Square, PA to have the motor rebuilt. Came back, put it back in the car, and we got everything hooked up just as he had to leave to head back to school in Florida. It has run great both at idle and under boost, however it's not running properly at the moment. I'm thinking the head gasket was not put on or torqued properly and due to this some fluid is coming out, along with smoke out of the exhaust 'til it warms up. It also will not currently rev above 2500-3000 RPM. I don't know enough about these cars or internals of motors to really do anything to it. My lack of free time and spare cash have caught up to me as well. I did have a fellow StarQuest owner come look at it. He thinks it may be the secondary injector causing the revving issue and head gasket causing the slight leakage issue. At this point, I've decided to goa head and sell it. Here's what it's got... Motor: 2.6L motor, bored .040 over, mechanical lifters, AJUSA all metal head gasket, Wiseco forged 8:1 pistons Trans: 5 speed Turbo: Stock Exterior: Red Interior: Black Leather Suspension: Semi race suspension (Tokico Blue Shocks, Eibach Springs, HD sway bars, all poly bushings.) Rims: Aftermarket rims with rear deep dish Tires: Newer tires, I will list brand/sizes when I double check this week Exhaust: Custom with Cherry Bomb and dual tips Other: Turbo XS Blow Off Valve, Black leather 6 way adjustable seats, braided lines, aftermarket steering wheel, etc. http://photos-e.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc1/hs175.snc1/6573_108639261079_502471079_2649980_1029134_n.jpg http://pafirefighter11.smugmug.com/photos/593545788_Siq5X-XL.jpg http://pafirefighter11.smugmug.com/For-Sale/Chrysler-Conquest-TSi/FrontQuarter/761000637_6BTDq-XL.jpg http://pafirefighter11.smugmug.com/For-Sale/Chrysler-Conquest-TSi/Interior/761001173_KMtuM-XL.jpg http://pafirefighter11.smugmug.com/Automotive/Conquest-at-Matts-7-16-09/downsized0805092050/612890706_cHzWu-XL.jpg http://pafirefighter11.smugmug.com/For-Sale/Chrysler-Conquest-TSi/BoxOfParts/761002335_ai5bh-XL.jpg http://pafirefighter11.smugmug.com/For-Sale/Chrysler-Conquest-TSi/RearQuarter/761001720_y5n3k-XL.jpg I'll take better updated photos this week. Car is located in Chadds Ford, PA at my buddies house. I have the clean title in hand (in my name). I'm looking to get $3000 obo for it. I'll also accept trades on bikes, V8/manual domestic cars, DSM's (turbo), and certain BMW's, Nissan's, Toyota's, Jeep's, etc. Show me what you've got!] EDIT: Car is now at my house in Exton. No longer looking to trade. !SOLD!
  11. Both injectors are good. Car runs with either hooked up. Checking voltage when I get a free moment.. may not be 'til next week.
  12. So you changed the injectors and that fixed the 4k wall issue?
  13. Thanks guys, I swear I checked the injectors before and all was well, but I'll double check if I get a moment tonight or Saturday night. Steve: That would absolutely rock! At least at that point I'd be able to narrow it down to a certain sensor or something. It'd be nice to see the engine bays side-by-side as well. There are a few things in mine that I'm unsure are correct or not. It would be much appreciated! My first free moment this weekend is going to be Saturday night, probably after 9pm is when I'll be home. The car is at my buddies house (whom I purchased it from) in Chadds Ford (Closer to DE), just off of 100/Creek Road and Route 202 - easy to find from DE. I'll PM you my #. My phone blows and I don't always have signal, so I typically have to text (it sucks). I need a new phone too. "The things you own, own you" ... fun!
  14. Is there a limp (or safe) mode on these cars if something is not reading properly at the ECU? Basically my rev limiter is at 2500, idles great, timing is great, TPS is good.
  15. I figured that out after it backfired in my face haha ;-)
  16. This "2500 redline" is both free idle and under load. I did a visual check of the spray. The primary injector looked to spray fine. Plenty of fuel on the TB flap. When hitting the gas hard it would kind of burp/backfire with the TB exposed while we were watching the injectors spray. TPS sweep looked fine. It was a smooth movement. This is from my mechanic buddy (13 years as a Chrysler Mechanic) who looked at the car on Sunday: I will check the wastegate tonight. Just listing parts that the prev. owner listed to me lol. Alright, I'll look into these guys again. I did all that testing months ago and I thought all was well, but I shall try to confirm again. Thank you!
  17. PCM, TPS, Crank Position Sensor, MAF, ECU, anything else? The car is running beautifully at idle and up to 2500 RPM during slow increase of the throttle. However, if somewhat stomped, it can rev upwards of 4000 RPM, but quickly drops back under 2500. I have searched for replacement sensors and located most of the ones I will need, but they are quite expensive. Ideally, I am trying to find a local Starquest owner who will let me "borrow/test" sensors and the PCM with him/her right next to me, so I can resolve this issue.
  18. Thanks guys, I'll check into these as well. There's an out of tank fuel filter on these cars, correct? I should probably change that anyway after a year of sitting, huh? Where are they mounted? Thanks!
  19. All vacuum lines are routed and look proper per my diagrams. The Sensor with a "T" has two yellow/green runner wires coming off of it. This is spliced. Today I spliced the proper wire into the black line per photos on that other Starion/Conquest forum post. The other wire matches 3 other yellow/green runner wires that are openly spliced .. doing nothing. The plugs I pulled to check, they aren't perfect, but not horrible.. here's a cell phone shot (I took real photos too .. will upload tonight if I get a sec): http://photos-g.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc1/hs199.snc1/6733_124655996079_502471079_2904310_4412500_n.jpg Cleaned them off, checked gap, it's at .044. Put them back in. Car did NOT run fine on first cold start today. Still idles fine. Hesitates and tries to die when slowly hitting the gas, but if you hit the gas hard enough it will run up to 2500 RPM, sometimes higher if I hit the gas harder. It then continues doing the "redline/rev limiter" bounce.
