Yea, I definitely want to do it myself to save dollars. Just didn't know if someone on here might have some advice or has done it before. I've never torn into a starter. Doesn't seem too bad though. I've got decent enough mechanical/electrical knowledge to figure it out. Lol.

My starter has been acting up for a few weeks and it has finally died. It would not crank, and I could hit the starter a few good whacks with a long wrench, and eventually get it to start. Well I think it has finally turned its last turn. So, is it something I can repair, or does it need to be replaced? I remember hearing something about brushes going bad on starters and causing this. Napa has the brushes. Most likely the starter itself or the solenoid? Thanks for the help.

I'll take the boost gauge.

It looks much nicer than that one, that's just the kind it is.

Hey, I have an HKS bov on my Quest. It is definitely leaking a bit and causing rough idle. I took it apart and it looks fine. Any ideas? Looks to be the same as THIS one.

Where is the best place to use as a jack point/placing jack stands? Floor jack and Craftsman 3 ton stands. The frame rail doesn't seem to like sitting on a jack stand. Don't want to do any more damage.

Need a known GOOD power steering pump Thanks

A good coat of salt on both sides of a ribeye, sometimes a good cut of sirloin, let it sit for about 20 minutes, then grill it or cast iron grill pan til medium. A good steak needs no sauce. Usually eat it with sauteed mushrooms and onions and some steamed broccoli.

If you will sell the sunroof bag separately, let me know a price.

I bought an 89 fiji shp from a guy in SC last year. I still have it in SC. Don't know if it was yours or not though.
-
Yea it should be a great car. I have maintenance records from when it was new. One owner car. The guy was meticulous with maintenance. Never went a mile over on oil changes, and had the timing belt, water pump, and oil pump replaced at 95k.

It is Menriv! Good eye. We still have gators coming around every now and then, but nowhere near once a week.

I've had the car for about a year. Bought it from a guy a couple towns over. Found it on Craigslist. I don't think he was a member on here. Not sure though. Yea, its a lot of snow. We got about 3 inches here on the coast. Up in Columbia, closer to NC, they got almost 9 inches. I drove out into town this morning, and not much was open. Gas stations, restaurants, all closed. You can tell people here are not used to snow. Lol
