  2. Nervous & dodgy front end

    I'll start off with my front suspension setup:

    - Rear 8's w/Kumho Ecsta Supra tires, 225/45/16

    - ST sway bar w/poly bushings

    - 101propose gas struts

    - 101propose camber plates (camber angle set to the middle of adjustment)

    - Eibach lowering springs

    - New Timken wheel bearings/races/seals

     

    Now for my issue:

    The car seems to want to follow the slope of the road. It's very nervous and is always kinda pulling one way or the other unless the road is flat. Under braking is the same issue, its nervous and tends to jerk left or right depending on the roads angle, this is worse under hard braking. I had it aligned this spring and they said everything was tight and aligned me to within spec. I've talked to a few guys about this, and I know our steering setup isn't the greatest, but at times the car can be just scary if your not paying attention. Also, it seems to be wearing the inside corners of the tires much faster than the rest of the tire.

     

    Any ideas?

    Does sound like a toe issue ;i just changed my r/outer tie rod and eyeballed it to get to the shop ,that is exactly how mine felt until they reset the toe

  6. Brake rotors

    Well the whole way to nationals this year, my car shimmied every time I hit the brakes. New ceramic pads so I'm guessing the rotors are shot from sitting. Since I won't be doing much driving at the moment, I'd like to see what your thoughts are on A.) The shimmy in the wheel when I hit the brakes and B.) recommendations on the rotors to get (if that's the problem). I was thinking I wanted to get drilled and slotted but not sure if that's a good route to go or not. Either way let me know what you think the issue might be. The shimmy only happens when coming down from the higher speeds (Above 30 usually is most prominent) and shakes the steering wheel back and forth pretty good. Any more info you need just ask.

    Great guy, great communication. Sent the parts out as soon as he possibly could and kept me informed the whole way. Thanks a lot would definitely buy parts from again

    As title says , I need a cam gear shelf. seems a lot of people toss them away, I have a rebuild going right now and am probably going to use one off my sons car till I can get one.

    Clearwater head forsale, the head is about 2 weeks old was bought for new build but as most of u know my block cracked among other things. The head has been cut so it is fresh and complete ready to go. This is a complete hyd head, the lifters are 2 weeks old as well, any questions please fell free to ask. 300 shipped.

    We Finally caught up w/ shipping the last batch of parts...sorry to anybody who had to wait awhile to get thier purchase...We ran our first sports camp...and it took much more time than we thought...my apologies....I'll try not to let it happen again.

     

    We r parting out 5 conquests and starions - what do u need?

     

    FYI: We'll ship tiny stuff usps, medium stuff ups, big goes greyhound gpx and big and heavy(motors/trannies) stuff goes Roadway.
