i might give that a try, but right now i got it at a volume where it will actually stay there, so i kind of dont want to mess with it, i have a sticker above the stereo that reads "Don't Touch Volume!", ;D, its so hard to keep from turning it up and down.

i have an interesting problem with the cd player that i got off a friend for free, the volume will just go up and down whenever it feels like it, i dont know if it is something to do with the steering wh. controls, but its drivin me crazy and blowing my speakers. the friend i got it from said that it could be fixed but he heard that it was something radical like $200 ,so i would like to maybe find a cheaper route. any ideas????? jeff s

I was having a loud squeaking noise from the clutch pedal that i thought was either the worn out clevis and pin at the top or the master cyl. goin bad, but it turned out to be the stupid clutch helper spring making all the noise. all you have to do is take off one 12mm bolt hold the clutch on the floor and then pry the spring coil out of the bracket, not the pedal, it isnt super easy to do , but just get crazy with it and use a screw driver to help get it to move. i think this thing is what wears out the clevis and pin in the first place, from putting pressure on it from both ways and as soon as it gets worn then it starts slapping and is worse. the clutch pedal might be about 1lb heavier to push, doesnt affect the cruise, and i like the feel of it now instead of the dead airy feel with the spring screwin around with it. just my thought jeff s

yeah chip i definitely watch my cam bearing closely, i only have 1 bearing in my head, on the third cyl tower, one time i put the whole tower on and was ready to put on the vc and whoops i see that i forgot to put in the top bearing shell. jeff s

i also have had good service with scotty, he sold me a 1g bov, and he keeps up on email and lets ya know whats goin on. good guy! jeff s

you know i really want to get a exh cut-out on my 5.0 capri, right behind the full-length headers, so when somebody pulls up beside me with music that loud, mostly likely ©rap, i can open the cutout, and rev her up to about 4000, and the cutout would have to aim at their cars, i would also be nice to have a 2-step ign. then i could just nail it until they are gone. just something i want to do haha jeff s

i thought of doing this too, but im just gonna get some black plastic and screw it to the bottom of the air dam, im gonna make some slits around the bolt holes so if i hit something it will break away. jeff s
