Looking very good. I want something completely bolt in if I can. Imagine some 1/4 plate sandwiched between the motor mounts and the pedestals they mount on. Then drill out the factory bump stops and run brackets off them all tied together to hold the rack. This idea may even work for the stock motor. Maybe I can sketch it if I take a pic later. Most of yall like me and prob need pics or diagrams to visually see it.

Clow I am seriously considering a rack swap. So yes please any info would be great. With the two custom motor mount plates as mentioned above I could easily weld off some brackets for a rack

Tim I got energy suspension mounts and they are a 3 piece unit. The flat part with the large bolt and nub can u bolt so I want to pull it and possibly make another flat part that bolt to the factory k member bolts 2 on each side. Then figure my holes for the energy suspension mounts. Pretty much just making new resting plates for the poly to sit on. I just hope where the motor sits the holes won't be covered to bolt into the k member. Pics coming soon.

I mostly removed the center bar and ported the mixing chamber. Comes with the motor attached. No injectors.

I painted the silver high temp black, looks way better. It holds up well and I don't believe I ever scraped at stock height.

Aluminized 2 1/2 inch mandrel bent. Comes with flex pipe and 2 bung holes(have plug for 2nd bung will include ). This thing sounds amazing at idle and really impresses everyone that sees and hears it. Solid mounts to the body.

Confirmation on the cruise actuator.

It looks like the triangle plug may be a actuator for the "speed control system circuit" or cruise control. All three wires go into the big harness into the car on the drivers side. Runs through front support to passengers side.

It is the washer motor. Thank you. I mixed it up with wiper. Doh!

86 fsm wiring diagram shows 2 relays and they are both 5 pin. Will dig further. Thank you.

 

I also haven't looked much but there is a 3 pin plug in the pass maf area. It was not being used. Was not the pump or diagnostic wires. Yellow, blue and red wires.

 

Gotta trace it still, ABS has been removed.

It is a 4 pin plug that should have a relay plugging into it, it appears anyway. White plug near the 4 ac relays(still have the 4 ac relays hooked up so its not them I hope). Wire colors are as follows

 

Blue/white

Blue/white

Blue

Black

 

I traced the first 3 going into the car through the drivers side big harness. Black looks like it nay go to ground.

 

Car has ac and analog gauges. I checked the service manual and I am still scratching my head.
