yea thats about fair for it can always list it for more than that like 8 k and just work our way down till they say sold lol but like i said the car only came out on 3 occasions weddings ,funerals and anniversary and that waz it

yes im talking about D1 GP theirs 3 events in Indiana and 1 main one in Chicago this year . the main one is aug 1st at solder field the qualifying is the Friday b4 the event .. theirs alot of requirements that need to be mad to enter your car in it stuff iv never even herd of.. like a diff catch can and a trans catch can . and other odd things like that as well

well according to my dad it should sell for what waz paid for it and they got it for 16k brand new

ok so my grandma wants to sell her car but does not know what its woth its a 1978 chrysler new yorker with 21k origonal miles on it and its all origonal and never seen snow the only time this car seen day light waz for weddings and and funurals and special eveants other than that it never left the house . now shes to old and needs the money to fund a retirement home car is mint like it never left the show room floor. my dad thinks its worth at least 12k can u guys help me find out kbb does not go back that far

well one its a dohc motor sohc is a dead end #2 they can make alot of power for nothing #3 if i mess something up i can just spend another $600 and just drop a new motor in it. if i change out the head gasket and also use ARP head studs and also a better turbo put the boost at about 18 psi thats about 300hp right there

oh trust me i thought about that .. and i have accesses to the perfect stuff for the job i work at a refinery they wrap some of there pipes in the same kind of blanket they use to wrap around trubos with and i can use cer wool witch is a blanket made out of ceramic fibers that can take heat up to 3200 F i doubt any part on that motor gets that hot or it would met cuz iron melts at 2800 and alum melts at 1250-1350 so it would work perfect

i just like it cuz its cheaper than a 4g swap comes with the trans and every thing and what not thats all. i waz going to do a 4g63 swap but i waz going to start from the block up i got way to deep in to it then i wanted the tras i needed waz hard to find and what not it waz going to cost me about 5g when it waz all done well i thought hell ill just get an sr20 with trans and every ting put on bigger injecotrs , change out the gaskets and use ARP studs and put on a better turbo and get 300hp for 2500$ .. u watch ill have it done by late may . i plan on intering the D1 this year with it .. so wish me luck .. i need it !!

my car needs alot i first i need the motor swapped in mine but it takes alot of prep work u need a cage and other things here this should help a lil bit thats just page 1 of the inspection book "Oil Catch Tanks Engine An engine oil catch tank must be installed with minimum capacity of one (1) quart and securely fastened in the engine compartment but not necessary with closed loop breather system. If not a closed loop breather system it must exit the outside. Transmission A transmission and differential oil catch tank must be installed. The transmission catch tank capacity must be more than 100cc and made by metal or resin and must be installed in passenger compartment. The differential catch tank capacity must be more than 200cc and made by metal or resin and must not be installed in the passenger compartment. If both transmission and differential share the same catch tank, the capacities need to be greater than 300cc in total. The catch tank breather must exit the outside."

so im going to try to enter in the D1 underground this year if my car is ready in time . there's going to be 4 events with in my reach . so i don't see y i cant make the try outs at least . i just hope my car is ready in time .
