right on guys, im gonna try cleaning and buying new filters, put on the clips, and swap out the vacuum advance that we pulled out of the parts car. i'll keep you all posted, hope it works

hey guys, hows it goin...... thats cool!!! i recently started to have an issue within the last couple of months or so. when i would punch it, i would either get a quick bog/tug and it would keep doing its great job, though it would only do it every here and then. recently within the last couple of weeks, the issue has gotten worse. it now does it whenever i punch it or try to build up boost of any sort. at neutral, i can hear the bog at around 2600 - 3000 rpms, but driving, it will happen at any rpm as low as 2400 rpms when im just barely accelerating or whenever i gun it at any rpm. if i work the peddle just right at a slow ease, i can get it to about 3000-4000 rpm without any problems, but as soon as i punch it, it boggs like no other. i can say that when that does happen, i can smell fumes in the car and with the hood popped, i can smell it around the intake manifold side. i was leaning towards a fuel system repair, but now i am questioning a spark issue. i have bought clips and still have to put those on. i replaced the fuel filter about 20,000 miles ago, but never the little filters out back(tank/pump). what should i look at, all filters, pump, o2 sensor, injectors, injector clips, ignition? anything guys, please help me out!!!

hey man, i have if you need a stock mass air, let me know, i'll let you borrow it for a emissions, just to see what it does. thats what i kept mine for!!! or check with starion1991, which ever is closer, im in the west valley/tolleson/avondale area. about the the bogging issue, i recently started having a similar issue. i cant punch it or else i boggs like no other, i'll try those filters and pump though. it used to happen selectively, but now it does it all the time if i dont ease into it. let me know

i dont know too much from the mechanics stand point, but i do agree. make sure the plugs, wires, etc, are up to good standards. i would do the stock mass air sensor and set it to low boost. when i did mine, i took the test pipe off and put the cat in, set it to low boost, and ran the stock mass air, used plain ol' supreme from chevron, and passed exceedingly. i know soulja620 on here told me he passed with his built motor and eliminated tons of his emissions stuff. i gotta do emissions too this month, time to swap out the goods!!! by the way, where in az are you?

hey guys, just had a question, i bought trilogy injectors and was wondering what i would need to install them. do i need longer bolts as i have read, spacers, etc? and will they work with the oem injector seal kit that dad sells as well as with the bosch style injector clips that he sells? also, i wanna buy a walbro fuel pump, is there anything i would need that it doesnt come with such as filters and is it a direct bolt on? thanks guys, im still learning about the starquest game, so i have tons of questions!!!

i was just wondering what size people would go with for a set of shp rear, 9s? i was thinking of running a 255/50/16 but was debating if whether it would rub or not. so now im leaning towards a 245/50/16 to play it safe. the tires are are sumitomos from tirerack.com and i have no suspension mods what so ever. connie (my conquest) is an 87. though i would like it to sit well and i not a huge fan of a gap around the wheel well either. let me know guys, new tires need to be ordered soon. thanks and happy new years!!!

dont know if this is the place for it, but is anybody running a methanol injection kit or nitrous intercooler fogger system. if so, which is best, how was the installation process, and performance? thanks a lot guys. take it easy!!!
