It's normal. Just needs to be driven.
I would pop ur cap to make sure the radiator isn't frozen over.

89PalermoSHP/ Jesse saved my butt for a temp sensor bung. Kept my butt from going to junkyard or messing with my setup. Thanks man!

I'm 99% they were just joking.

Car is almost back together, just waiting on the radiator. Interested in trades also, I need a DD that's fun and gets good gas mileage.

It's in Johnston near camp dodge. I live in W. DM and I'm working on it this weekend if you want to take a look. Here's a pic the day I bought it

The guy before me didn't know how to mount a muffler.
Engine shots before tear down.

that dash is freakin sweet!
Also, that turbo is going nowhere, haha.
Looks good though.

I might be the only one to say, I would personally get the money from the M3 engine. They fetch pretty good dough and could fund other projects.
But as the group says, it would be pretty bitchen.

Man, why does all the good stuff have to be miles and miles away. I would snatch that thing right up.
-
Here is what it is. 1988 Chyrsler Conquest, 84k miles on it, 5spd with Black Leather interior. The interior is nice except for wear on the drivers side left bolster. Everything works on the inside and sunroof does not leak.It comes with extra parts, 88 ECU, 88 Ignitor box, few sets of injectors and an extra intake manifold and TB with all the electronics.
Just testing the waters at the moment. I'm in the process of replacing the headgasket and some other things. But here is what the car will have when I'm done.
stock cylinder head that has been reworked by a speed shop, i.e. new valve seats and straightened. Pressure tested exh mani that has been relief cut, a known good wiring harness(mine was spliced in a few spots). Known good cleaned injectors. New radiator with temp sensor bungs welded in. All new timing components and a 3 inch *DM exhaust with a 1 G MAF. It has small rust spots in front of the rear wheels and the frame rails are a little rust. I will probably repair those also.
I paid 1900 for it with a blown headgasket, it also had a problem with the injectors. If it goes back together and works flawlessly I'd like to see 2500, if it still has the injection problem I'd want 2200. After buying the car and finding out the head and exh mani were cracked, also that is had a blown headgasket. It has left a very sour taste in my mouth and I bought it to drive, not put 700 dollars into. I haven't even driven it because of the problems it had.
So like I said I'm testing waters to see if anybody would even be interested in it, it is in central Iowa. I'd interested in trades, maybe a sport bike.

That's just lucky all over!
have fun with it, looks like a box will be a little hard for the space you were wanting. But an almost free sub that should have cost you A LOT more, it's doable.

That little car is bad! I would rock it every day of the week!

DAD on here has them for sale.

Anybody want this?

Few thousand at most.

nice car man. Just to let you know, the neg cable end is on upside down.
-
yeah it's been used, It's from a *DM kit. It was on the car when I bought it.
Grids and stuff still look good.
If I can't sell it here I'll take it to a metal place and probably get more because of all the special metals.
Let me know if somebody wants it.
-
hey I have a 3inch cat off of a *DM kit. I don't need it because we don't have emission here in Iowa.
Not sure what to ask for it $110?
-
I'm gonna be the first to say it, I'm not a fan of body kits.
But it seems you have that thing built to the hilt, so gotta give you props for building a pretty nice setup.
-
Just bought one for 65 shipped. Thanks anyways.
-
Nice, very clean.
-
My dad sells brand new ones, and can stress releive them already for you.
www.enginemachineservice.com or pm DAD on the board
Thanks man, I'm familiar with the ones he sells. I just want to get the vehicle running and not have exhaust blowing in the engine compartment. Cheap build for now.
-
Mine is cracked, big time. Hmm, seems to be the trend with this car
What do you have?
-
Nice man.
Looks freakin beautiful, only wish I had the space to start a project like that.
