  1. well im not neccesarily looking for something fast thats rear wheel drive, im looking for a rear wheel drive, that is reliable. theres few cars that come to mind that i am interested in, and even fewer that are available.
  2. well you have to pay for carfax. also you have to pay for a car to buy, this guy wants my integra, and hes trying to throw parts on top of it to make me interested. once he gets those parts, i will meet up with him, do a test drive, and check everything out. any other things i should look out for?
  3. the thing is i have availability to do both, and around the same price for both. the junkyards around here are pretty abundant with 1g eclipses, and the local swap shop has good prices and even better products. im curious to both though. the huge bottom end of the g54b is nice, but that compression leaves little to be desired, while the 4g63 has a great deal of aftermarket availability of parts and knowledge.
  4. Was told it was an 88. Where can I find a manufacture date?
  5. see the enjoyment for me is in the build. yeah overall the drive is fun, but i enjoy the labor.
  6. thanks for the help fellas. overall my goal is to swap a 4g63, but for the time being its just to keep up maintainance, hard pipes, exhaust, downpipe, maft, bov, and a new front mount. see where things take me from there.
  7. i know my wiring, but why did you people decide to go with going mpi instead of engine swapping? i am curious myself to do an mpi so that i can learn and understand the actual tuning and logging of an engine, but with a car that seems so easy to accept everything, what is your reasoning?
  8. well of course i am going to test drive before i get it. im tired of the front wheel drive thing, and ready for something new. so turbo rear wheel seems the next logical step. face it in the sport compact world, theres not much rear wheel drive.
  9. I have a good job, I am having to get rid of my Acura to get this. I've done the Honda thing, and I am ready for something new. Mitsubishi, here I come!
  10. Hello all! I am about to get a conquest here shortly in the next couple of days... figured I would introduce myself.
