  6. Well, really all I am looking for is the basic ignition curve numbers to start with. I will back everything down a bit for starters. I know that a good base for timing is 12 degrees at idle, but what is the max timing and at what rpm usually? Thanks, Steve Gee
  7. Ok, I am going to use a crank trigger which is perfect for cylinder pulse. Now the problem is that I need a reference for cylinder 1. I am also going to use an MSD DIS - 2 (Waste Spark) so not only do I need a pulse to fire the MSD, but I can just use an induction sensor on #1 plug wire. The Crank trigger will give #1 cylinder 2 times not just once per cycle. So, what are other people using to reference #1? Steve Gee

  10. I need a basic fuel and ignition map values and points. My book gives me a timing table for a Mits Evo5 w/9.3:1 compression, 96 octane fuel Do you think that's close enuff to start?   11. What about that fact that a bigger turbo has MORE mass to move; therefore you could hurt performance by having to big of a turbo. It will take more exhaust gas to move the turbo. After all, if that wasn’t true, we would call be raiding turbos off of Peter builts and Freightliners. Steve Gee
  12. One thing the Autronic has that the haltech or the SDS dosen't is an Autotune Feature. Hook up a wide ratio O2 to the computer and it will tune the car on the dyno. Later, Steve Gee
  13. GSL = External GSS = In Tank GSL 393 is the 255 pump for external. StarQuest pump is mounted external on top of the tank. See the charts for internal tank style for flow rates. Notice the flow rate at 13.5 vs. 12 Volts, so you want to make shure you use a relay to suply voltage. Got my GSL 393 on the way with the $10.00 fitting kit. Later, Steve Gee
