  1. Black with rainbow flake>>>>>>>>> http://i252.photobucket.com/albums/hh6/GaryCHoffmann/mics004.jpg http://i252.photobucket.com/albums/hh6/GaryCHoffmann/mics003.jpg http://i252.photobucket.com/albums/hh6/GaryCHoffmann/DSCN0354.jpg http://i252.photobucket.com/albums/hh6/GaryCHoffmann/DSCN0355.jpg http://i252.photobucket.com/albums/hh6/GaryCHoffmann/DSCN0358.jpg http://i252.photobucket.com/albums/hh6/GaryCHoffmann/DSCN0359.jpg http://i252.photobucket.com/albums/hh6/GaryCHoffmann/DSCN0347.jpg Now your after my heart, if you can't tell, I like metal flake LOL
  2. Since I always end up running alot of wires, I drill a 7/8 hole behind the radio and get a grommet. Run all of my wires and then seal up the grommett with silicone. There are a few factory grommets that you can poke through and run your wires but I prefer to use a dedicated hole for aftermarket electronics to cut down on any interference.
  3. it looks slightly different now, long story short, I put a black pearl on top of the car to tone it down a bit. Without a flash on it it looks black and then shifts in the sun. Wait till you see my rims...... LOL
  4. http://i252.photobucket.com/albums/hh6/GaryCHoffmann/Starion%20for%20sale/DSCN0782.jpg that color
  5. 4 hours away is dads shop http://www.enginemachineservice.com/ check out his site, he'll help you
  6. move it up and down and in and out. If there is alot of movement the turbo is in need of some help.
  7. 500-600 hp on a tbi system is completely doable, unfortunately not our tbi system. MPI is the way to go but I would still keep your power goals realistic. Honestly, 250-275 at the wheels on a tbi car is alot of fun, I would shoot for that first, then decide if you want to go further with the car and if you want to make the investment into making a high HP quest. To get to 250-275 I would suggest a rebuild with good, forged components. A shop doesn't charge that much to assemble an engine once the machine work is done. I'd let them do it.
  8. as far as replacing it you can just swing it down and unscrew it, then just screw on your new one. It's a 5 minute affair
  9. fusible links are known to go bad after I don't know, 20 years. It's a slow burn fuse so chances are it's getting close to the end of it's life. I'd replace it
  10. wrong person to ask, i have only had bad luck with exedy. but, from looking at the pictures i can:t tell you a whole lot
  11. yes with good luck and performance from them.
  12. Mail caravan, almost all manufacturers will make a RHD for the postal service. In rural areas if you work for the post office you can order certain vehicles "postal Service" which is RHD and in some cases really low gears and upgraded brakes
  13. You replaced all the worn out parts, over the last 20 years or so someone surely adjusted the pedal. Now that all the parts are new you have to readjust the pedal. The master rod is threaded so you can adjust the pedal a bit. take out your pin and adjust the rod all the way back, then hook it back to the pedal and see if it feels better. Trial and error untill you get it where you want it.
  14. you want old jeep or ford ranger steelies. The offset on those are pretty low so you can run those. Personally I would run these http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SUM-84-5765/ or these http://www.summitracing.com/parts/USW-90-4612/ they are cheap enough
  15. What are you looking for? Is your car up for more boost? Boost controller is the easiest
  16. I'm going to assume that you modified the manifold to fit the turbo. By regulator are you meaning wastegate? How does the car run? Need a little more info. Could be a boost leak, bad seal at the turbo, clogged cat. Many different thengs
  17. Car was sold but the guy who bought it calls me from time to time for advice. I'll have him run by sometime
  18. http://lasvegas.craigslist.org/cto/1784487701.html I'd drive it
  19. Already have 2 coats down....... I figure maybe a big "IMPORT" sticker that covers 1/2 the car.
  20. So I started to wetsand and buff my car and my backer pad broke and shot into the paint and tore it up. It burn't right through before I could do anything. So now I'm repainting. Ugh, no color matching a small piece on my car, I had to do the whole side or do the entire car. I chose the entire car as I don't want it to be noticeable and I'm a novice painter. I've taught myself how so I don't know alot of the tricks. We'll see I guess.
  21. as of today before I started wetsanding http://i252.photobucket.com/albums/hh6/GaryCHoffmann/Starion%20for%20sale/IMG00045-20100604-1439.jpg http://i252.photobucket.com/albums/hh6/GaryCHoffmann/Starion%20for%20sale/IMG00043-20100604-1438.jpg
  22. You can put it on your car but it's overkill. You will also need to buy a custom made exhaust manifold or have yours modded to accept a t4 flange. Have a downpipe made, redo you rintake charge pipes etc. On a stock motor you could not even get that turbo into the efficiency range bost wise, You would have a hard time spooling it. The tf07 I believe is mitsu heavy industries turbo. It uses the td07 exhaust housing and has a HUGE wheel, You can try it but for the amount of money it would take I would go with a proven bolt on style turbo
  23. What color/type flake is that? Did you spray it over red?
  24. azev 18x10.5 rears 20 offset, fronts are 18x9 18 offset. I have 3 chrome and on silver so I either have to have one chromed or paint them. I really don't like chrome. they are actually for a bmw, nothing a machine shop can't fix. Or adapters on the rear, re drill the fronts. May just put them on my bmw
  25. rims are getting painted, I'm not a fan of chrome. Paint is a bit obnoxious with a flash on it, but most people won't see it with a flash, time will tell out in the sun. We'll have to see, it's a little brighter than expected. might have to top coat it in a pearl or something. I have some gunmetal pearl that could tone it down a bit. I'll have to see. Rims are probably going to be black or just a simple silver, don't know yet
