1987 Conquest Tsi

Recommended Posts

Times are rough, I need to sell my car. I really don't want to after all the work i've put into it, but i need money so here goes.

1987 Conquest TSI

109k miles on chassis

Motor:

about 1.8k on rebuilt motor (changed oil at 600 miles and again last week)

bottom end is stock, but replaced stock head with clearwater head and had the stock cam/etc switched to the new one.

balance shaft elimination kit

ARP head studs

all new gaskets/seals/platinum spark plugs

new coil/cap&rotor/plug wires @ 98k miles

stock turbo/intake

custom aluminum 1/4 inch hard pipes with 3 inch accordian hard pipe

Greddy type S blow off valve on OVCP

stock MAS is on right now, but i eliminated the can, have a K&N filter on, and also have a 1g mas that i ran for a while.

Griffen aluminum radiator

replaced the electrical radiator fan with a flex fan (Keeps it running at half on the temperature gauge, even during the summer.)

recently replaced injector clips

hks turbo timer

new battery

Exhaust:

2.5" downpipe/2.5" high flow cat just recently installed/2.5" HKS catback

Suspension:

about 4k miles on

Tokiko HP struts/Suspension Techniques lowering springs

replaced the top plates because the stock ones were cracked (not adjustable camber just OEM)

replaced tie rods/ball joints

Interior:

you can search for posts from a while ago showing the process on here..

I basically used vinyl dye and changed the color of my interior from maroon to black/gray.

replaced the front seats with Corbeau racing seats and corbeau brackets so they are adjustable

racing harnesses

bride steering wheel

replaced the back seat with black carpet

The only other things that I can think of that have been done are that I smoked the tail lights and replaced the bulbs with red l.e.d.s other than that the car sat for a while, but the tires are in good shape still and I kept it clean while it sat for about 8 months. I need to pay for school so I am trying to get $4000 for the car. I figure... I paid $3500 for the car @ 94k. I barely drove it, and put at least $2500 worth of parts into the car I feel like $4000 is fair. Not to mention, it's getting rare to find many of these in as good of condition and with as low miles as this car has.

If you're interested or want more pictures just send me a private message on here and I'll respond as soon as I can.

Thank you,

-Kyle K

You would be better off Ebay it to get 4k for it...Sorry for keeping it real...
