Indiana Posted May 3, 2009 Report Share Posted May 3, 2009 Mazda used the Mitsu. engine in the b2600 when it came out because all they had was the 2.0 and the 2.2 and they needed a larger engine and their engine wasn't yet ready so for those first two years, 1987 and 1988 only they used the G54B then in 1989 they used their 100% completely different engine and its name was just G or maybe G6 but no you can't use the head or any other part at all, its like a dodge and a ford both just happen to be labeled as a 2.6 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
