chasm2530 Posted April 7, 2009 Report Share Posted April 7, 2009 My '88 DD actually "scrubs" in behind the steering wheel when you turn it and the radio controls don't work so I've been needing to pull it and fix it for a coupla years now. It has a hole at noon o'clock on the leather so I said I'm not pulling IT and putting IT back on, I said I'm not gonna pull it until I find a steering wheel with perfect leather to replace it with. I don't like those lace-on covers and you guys haven't been any help, anybody with a good one wanted what it's worth-$50 and up! Finally found this on evilbay...guy had it listed as an '87 wheel. No one bid on it but me! $21 shipped! I saw it sitting on the top of what was left of the interior but it looked a little rugged and missing the buttons. Good to see it went to good use. Its the same car I got my cloth seats out of.
