Quest88
Hey I brought one awhile ago before reading a few other header ideas on this board and way before the GP. Anyways for the few who have it and installed it in thier car I was wondering how did you clear your hood line and how did you get your IC plumbing in without cutting your hood? I knew I was in for a challenge but this is crazy unless they sent me the wrong header.
DanMitsu
the way, the turbo sits on the flange now, with that header. you have to turn the compresser housing. so that it faces, darn near straight toward the fender... just start turning it,. the housing., an put an ic pipe on it. till you get it where you wnat it,. then tighting it down.,. later
Quest88
what about the wastegate I'm running a 17C so I don't think its possible just to turn the turbo.
DanMitsu
you mean the bracket for the internal gate?? right.. its mounted on the compresser housing, so if you turn it, it might put the arm in a bind??? Depending on who you got it from,. garrett style. you loosing the 6 bolts on the metal shim, an rotate the front housing.. (im not sure, in your case) ???
