mcguire3890
i finally got my new oil pressure gauge in and i think its working correctly. but i just want to be sure. there are 2 plugs on the new sending unit. when the signal wire is on one of the plugs my gauge reads 0psi when the wire is unhooked the gauge reads 100psi. when the signal wire is on the second connector the gauge reads 60-80 at cold idle , 20-25 at warm idle, and when i drive the gauge says about 80 and maybe more depending on the throttle. is this correct ? jsut wandering because before i put this sending unit and gauge in my old stock gauge would barely move from the L on the gauge. just want to know its right to watch out for my new engine. thanks for any info
GCNTSi
That sounds good, at least the second plug of the sending unit. What does your gauge go up to? 100psi? Check this page from Indiana's site: http://www.b2600turbo.com/fluidpressure.htm -GCNTSi. Edited April 8, 2008 by GCNTSi
