Snowmanss-s10 Posted March 21, 2008 Report Share Posted March 21, 2008 (edited) Hello I just bought this car 3 days ago off of a guy moving to arizona for 700.00 I didnt know much about it other than it leaked oil under boost. I brought it home and found that when someone had changed the timing chain they creased the headgasket while putting it back on. I bought a new oil pan gasket, a timing chain gasket and a head gasket kit. When I removed the head i was supprised to find a non-jetted head. So, i think that someone had put a little money into the car. I will tell you what i know about the car. The car is an automatic and it has a factory sunroof Non-jet head from racetep Arp head studs turbo piping turbo x blow off valve homemade boost contoller new timing chain and tensionors GM alternator conversion msd coil kyb shocks and struts spring technique sport spring larger than stock fuel pump The car is pretty well rust free. The car has low oil pressure at idle when its warm, when driving the car it doesnt like to shift into overdrive, but it will.
