Notquiterichenough
Great example of a wingless widebody. In my opinion it looks great.

Alcyone
just used the old headlight doors to create a a floor so the light doesn't hit the pavement!! as well as this is going so far I'm surprised more folks don't have flushmount projects. GoFastBeater
Did you spraypaint those wheels without at least taping off the tires? Looks like there's paint all over the tires.
Alcyone
yes there was paint on the tires. I learned a long time ago that tire flex and paint does not stay there long. they are already clean again. and after 24 hours of looking at the car with those lights in it I went back to pop-ups.. it's part of the car's character, think. either way after a day I missed them. Alcyone
I think with the hood lift and no pops and the unfinished spoile prohect I was heading towards riceville fast.

Mexican chrome LOLOLOLOL.
chasm2530
Old school trick...spread some grease on the tire around the edge of the wheel before you paint. It covers better than tape, then you just wipe it off. Instant tire shine. http://i232.photobucket.com/albums/ee299/chasm2530/shades%20of%20quest/bestquest.jpg
JustPaus_88TSi
as well as this is going so far I'm surprised more folks don't have flushmount projects. Alcyone
yeah the just pause conversion will be the end all beat all honestly this is the lightest color I've painted wheels before they usaually wind up black and paint's no issue. I need to remeber to ask Chasm for help more often. He's the real deal car guy. I wish I'd been around more to learn from him!
