dmmiller360
Hi, I am looking for the weatherstipping for the outside of the sunroof on a customers conquest car. I know that they do not make the part anymore, but have heard that you can use the weatherstipping for a Isuzu Rodeo, does anyone know if it's a specific year that you would need to use, or is it any year Rodeo weatherstip that you can use? Thank you,
vbrad511
If it's the outer piece around the glass, it's just for decoration. The actual seal is below the glass attatched to the body. Since the outer moulding is no longer available, some people just remove it completely and clean the glass. If it's the seal underneath you need, they say 96 or so Rodeo, and some Honda passports use the same seal.
dmmiller360
It's the piece that is around the glass, if they do want to replace that piece would there be any other piece that would replace that?
vbrad511
You might get lucky and either find a used one here on the boards, or find something else that'll go around the glass. The moulings are SCARCE.
h8vtecs
i think it looks alot better without the outer piece to the sunroof. i took mine off and have had no problems with rain coming in, and everyone knows it rains 8 months out of the year in the pacific northwest.. anyway the seal of an rodeo or passport i hear fits just fine.. maybe a junkyard might be a start to find one.. hope this helps a bit. good luck
