The_MATRIX Posted June 24, 2004 Report Share Posted June 24, 2004 Ive got a rebuilt 86 alternator and the corresponding harness connection which looks like this l- in comparison to the 87 and later style which looks like this (| |) The stock 89 wiring is white/yellow stripe and white/green stripe I need to connect the 86 harness (white/brown & a blue wire) but don't know which wires go where, I only have the pdf with 88 electrical and can't firgure this out without an 86 wiring diagram or some - please - help Its my only alternator and I cant afford to find out the hard way Let me know if you know how to connect or can help me out, the car has been getting built up and hasn't been on the road in 2 years, 150-200 hours invested and would love to take it for a spin tomorrow (I know you guys & gals know how that is Thanks in advance Chris Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
