cooltsi
Anyone use an aftermarket Double DIN? Like the Clarion Double DIN tape/CD combos? I seem to recall the face on the stock radio smaller than a normal Double DIN. I have never seen a Double DIN used but would like to retain the stock faceplate as I have my climate control mounted in the lower pocket.
indy_85stariones
I installed two single-DIN units -- a headunit and an in-dash CD Changer. I had a 1/4 inch gap at bottom that I filled in with plastic breadboard trim piece.

helrazr70
I used a Mercedes-Benz MCS unit from a 2003 ML 500. It is a double DIN size. It has a LCD screen with flip-down face (for the cassette deck and Navigation unit/CD player, and I can eventually add Satellite Navigation, 6 disc fiber optic controlled CD changer, and hands free phone system.
