artinist Posted February 11, 2004 Report Share Posted February 11, 2004 anything you guys recommend to replace my stock speakers with? its an 88 car so 5-1/4 and 6-1/2 I had used JBL speakers in the rear of my previous car but i spend hours on it to make them fit even though they were the same size. emann420 Posted February 14, 2004 Report Share Posted February 14, 2004 Art, that 6.5" is a three hole mount speaker for newer chysler. I think it sticks out to far from the metal of the car door for the door panel to go back on. I think you need the four hole mount with a shallow face on it.
