I was throwing around a few two-tone rim colors, but ended up just doing the inside black like you did and polish the lip, instead of bronze in your case.. AndyW your opinion matters becuase you have my favorite color starquest of all. I dont think the red on the inside will matter too much because it will be shaded when on the car and the brake dust will stick to it untill i wash it, im just thinking it might be a cop magnet. LOL Its a 20' paint job, it looks ok form 20' away. any closer and its shodiness realy starts to show. I race more than I show it so my attention went more towards performance and handling rather than a 2 grand paint job. My next Quest will have the 2 grand paint job (curious Yellow) once I find my low mialage SHP sunroof car with a tan interior from out west. 1stquesTSi Posted July 3, 2004 Report Share Posted July 3, 2004 damn! you beat me to it. i was thinking of doing black and red rims, exept all black with the inner star red (as opposed to the stock silver with inner star red) anyway nice job! ;D. the outer bronze and inner black looks pretty bad imo, but the bronze with black inner star is nice. but the red and black is probably the nicest. now if i do red and black rims im going to feel like im copying some one. but oh well. just dont do the red black combo i sed!!! lol nah you can. nice job painting they look great.
