MikeMeyerhoff Posted December 15, 2004 Report Share Posted December 15, 2004 Read the FAQ forum for a lot of common problems. Are you going to tear the whole motor appart to inspect and clean? Thats time consuming, but not a bad practice on a motor that sat if you don't know the real condition. Hopefully it didn't sit with coolant in the cylinders. I'd also check the timing chain and guides. Replace if worn. Also a good idea to clean ALL electircal connections as you work on them.
