Jonathan
I installed my Ford TB and I checked the TPS for which wire to connect to my SDS system. This is what I found. Also its from a 99 ford 4.6L. Is this correct? Top pin - 5 volt - Ohms increase when throttle is opened. middle pin - Signal - Ohms decrease when throttle is opened Bottom pin - Ground http://www.streetneeds.com/ttnet/up/1998%20ford%20expedition%20TB.jpg%
HotrodTSi
...for those in the know, do we need to find a section of harness from a Ford to get the plug for the TPS? What is the correct color code from our car harness to correspond to the Ford TPS?

chiplee
The following works for the HAWK. I make no claim what-so-ever about this wiring information with regard to any other ems. However, if your ems requires signal, power and ground, as I suspect it does, then this should help. With a volt meter two of the three posts will have a set resistance between each other no matter how you connect the meter. One of these is power the other is ground. Now to determine which is which: The other post will have variable resistance between itself and either of the two power and ground posts. With the third post connected switch the other meter wire back and forth between the power and ground. Whichever one gives the highest resistance is the power, and now you've identified all three.
