how about some info???? Thats a lot of cash. Who makes them .... etc

They look awsome. I assume your replacing both springs and struts with this set up correct so the price at 20 people isn't to far from what you would pay for struts and coil overs

I'm interested in them. Keep me informed!

These are just one set for now we flew in for the starions.

Stantions are 22mm in dia.

Stockers are 14mm.

Gas charged.

They are expensive.

But they cost less then the big name brands. $2K+ for tiens

Custom spring rates

valving can be changed by changing shims by the manufacturer only.

You can request heavier damping.

1)  What do the markings mean? Front 250-50 Rear 250-30

1) Front 250-50 means 250mm Length, 50kg force per cm.

2)  Will different spring rates be available?

2) Yes, there are different spring rates available as shown below:

3)  Are these shocks adjustable?

3) Yes, this shock is adjustable. - Only when service by changing shims.

4)  Will adjustable shocks be available?

4) Yes

5)  What will it take to produce racing sets?

5) You have to tell how much shorter shock body and piston rod open length to reduce and how much harder in shocks. You must then tune with different springs to suit your race set-up.

What diameter springs? If you have to dial in your setup it would be alot easier to use Eibach ground control etc.. Something available here in the U.S.

Only if you want a full race set up made.

Yes you can use eibach springs.

The springs used are german made.

What diameter springs?

60mm dia.

The ones we had tham make for us is a street/race version.

60mm dia. spring

mono gas strut with a larger dia. slider.

Heavy duty seals.

warranty of 2 years. or  20k miles

The only work you have to do is cut the tops of the old front struts off and drill the a hole on bottom bolt em in.

Thats it

who's making these?  are they built to order, ie custom damping for custom spring rates? or do they come as-is?  not that they're in the budget 8)

They can be built to order.

Or as is.

What ever your desire is.

J5, I am very interested in this strut assembly, they really look great. But the front assembly using the old strut housing too drop the new strut assembly into just to keep the functionality of the spindal on the old housing kinda kills it for me. What happens if the bolt snap off on the bottom of the strut when you hit a pot hole. You will pretty much be SOL. Not that im hoping this would happen to anyone, I guess the question would be how much more trouble would it be to get these guys to cut the old strut tube down to the spindal, then shim and weld the new strut into the spindal if there is a diameter difference between the two parts. Then the fronts strut assembly would be a complete assembly for the starquest.  At this point I think it would be worth the cost.  Also they could weld the brakeline brackets into place as well on the front strut tube as they did for the rear strut tub. Again I really like the product but it would be nice if they could go just a little step further with this front strut assembly. Let me know what you think. Thanks  ::)
