joshb530
new guy from northern california, just picked up a 88 conquest, 5spd, black leather, love it so far lots of little thing to fix, thinking it might have a clogged cat, seems like it struggles to rev and it spool rather slow and only makes about 7psi total. importwarrior
Take turbo and exhaust manifold off get them surfaced and new gaskets and then see what it does. Go to dad on here for all your parts. http://www.enginemachineservice.com/ems/index.php

importwarrior
Heads sometimes the exhaust manifold studs back out over time. The nuts don't move once installed but the stud itself back out.Cylinder 4 and 3 seem to be the bad ones for me. Also if this is a new car to you. Get the radiator flushed , rodded out or replace it. Better to be safe then sorry. One good over heat and crack head Between the valves.
