dmostiler Posted August 17, 2015 Report Share Posted August 17, 2015 Just changed the Seal on my Steering box, and I'm trying to put it back in. I have everything good, except the Screw that goes into the Clip that is at the base of the Steering Column. Is there a trick to it? I know that there is a slot where the screw supposed to go, I just cant seem to get it started. Very frustrating. Any help would be appreciated. 87redcat Posted August 17, 2015 Report Share Posted August 17, 2015 keep the 3 mounting bolts loose. make sure the sleeve is all the way on the column shaft. the bolt in the ring clamp should line up with the groove in the shaft.tighten the bolt and the 3 mounting bolts hope this helps Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
