mechengrkj
Anyone have a new one or know where I can find one? I know mr.andaya sold some a few years ago but I don't think he has been online in a couple years.
nightwalkerancestery
I just ordered a replacement one the other day from Chrysler (lack of mitsu dealers here) that's meant for some of the trucks. it's the one that has been discussed before on here. the part number is MD7015771. I'll let you know how it works when I get it and install it. - Charles

SFBMX88
Are you talking about this - black bushing inside shifter(from Mr. Andaya): http://i.imgur.com/PfENI1k.jpg Or this(MD7015771) http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i125/DansTalon/000_0090.jpg?t=1291722869 If the first one, I have the whole modified shifter for sale. $90 shipped - never used(after modification was done), includes new/uninstalled small dust boot(md703619) http://i.imgur.com/7qrPTD4.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/SC2XNkh.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/ewFp6Yx.jpg Edited January 27, 2014 by SFBMX88
nightwalkerancestery
That'd be awesome. Thanks!I just picked up the bushing i ordered from the dealership and installed it. It feels only slightly loose inside of the bushing hole, but it's nice and tight around the ball. I haven't installed it yet, but I will hopefully install it tonight. I'll let you know the final result. http://i.imgur.com/7qrPTD4.jpgWould you be willing to PM me about the design of this shifter? I have a spare (torn boot and eaten up bushing) that is just laying useless. I might try this modification. - Charles
nightwalkerancestery
Follow up... Just installed the shifter and it doesn't feel any different than the stock bushing. So it would be safe to say that this bushing works perfectly. Again, the part I ordered is MD7015771 and you can order it from any Mitsu, Chrysler, or even Dodge dealership. I can almost guarantee they won't have it in stock so you'll probably have to wait a couple days for it to come in. Let me know how it feels with your tranny if you go this route. - Charles
