Technica Dash and A - Pillar covers

Hi Starion and Conquest Owners

My name is Philip Wegmann and I'm from Switzerland. Im owner of a 1989 2.6lt. "Fatty" Starion.

I want to make my Starion unique. Until this day I have following parts : MK turbo style fiberglass hood, MK 3 inch exhaust system

(turbo back), coilover suspension and separate gauges for oil – temp and turbo boost. The motor is still stock with only 137000km

(approx. 85100 miles) on it.

Now I also want a Technica Dash. And I know that I also need a speed sensor, because the Technica Dash has no speedometer cable.

I also ordered a A - Pillar add on two gauge cluster. But the received part doesn't fit. I think there's a difference between the European

and the US - models. They have not the same A - Pillar covers.

Can anyone post a picture of the American A - Pillar covers? And has anyone some american covers?

Sorry for my bad english.

Summary:

1 x Technica Dash incl. speed sensor

2 x American A - Pillar covers (driver and passenger).

Thanks for answer. This forum is awesome.

Kind regards from Switzerland

Also if you are going to use the digital dash , you have to get the fuel sender as well and can't forget the dimmer roo

i can send you some notes of the conversion if you need it

@MikeMeyerhoff: Thanks for your answer, I just found out myself :D

@prototype78: I'm in touch with UlrichWolf. The fuel sender can be modified to work with the Technica dash. I think some notes will be helpful, thanks very much :)

I mean the second one

  • 2 weeks later...

I gave it up to search fitting A - Pillar gauges. A week ago i bought the radio panel from MotoCam360.

In this panel I can mount three gauges :)

Thanks for the tip!!

But I'm still searching a full digital Technica dash :D
