DMC-4OOEX Posted March 20, 2013 Report Share Posted March 20, 2013 Just a feeler, this car is my daily driver and I'm really looking for a Quest! 2001 Volkswagen Jetta 1.8T Wolfsburg Edition. 5-speed.Car was bone stock with 136k when I bought it. Has a rebuilt head and timing belt were done around 130k. Currently has 143,xxx miles. Lowered on Raceland Coilovers I installed a 3" stainless steel downpipe, to a 2.25" straight exhaust. Not overly loud and no drones inside the car (and sounds nasty under WOT)Aftermarket intake and Bailey diverter valve.Custom tune (spikes 22, holds 18) Car is a lot of fun to drive and pulls really hard when it spools up. Not to mention it gets great gas mileage. Don't let the mileage scare you, these 1.8T's will run over 200k easily. The car is far from cosmetically perfect, (small amount of clear coat peel on rear quarter, primer front bumper and dented hood) But mechanically solid. I've already driven it to Western Ohio and back. It has a new crank sensor as well as new rear wheel bearings and ive been running synthetic oil in it. Would like to find a clean quest to trade for.
