Rear diff

K so trying to take out the rear end and it wont budge.were the 4 nut's hold the crossmember/diff support.i have them bolts off and they are the only thing holding me up.so things i tried to get the crossmember to drop.

heat

prybar

air hammer

how the hell can this not fall with all the wight unreal!

you have to take off the diff mounts up on top, and axels at least; maybe the tourqe tube. Thats all I can remember off the top of my head

 

Not if you drop everything together,makes for a quick swap 14 bolts 18 if you have e brake stuff/cables and you can have the whole rear suspension on the ground and thanks for your input.

The suspension wants to jam if it does not come down even. Jack the front mounting points back up against the body and try to get the cross member loose and started down. You may also have to drive the bolts up with a hammer and punch to break loose any rust that might be in there.
