proper way to plug in maf translator

i know ill get jumped on about doing searches , i did search and couldnt find this specific answer im looking for. the modded maf translator plug has 5 prongs to plug into the stock harness, 3 on top and 2 on bottom. the stock harness has 8 slots the prongs can slid into 4 on top 4 on bottom. how do i correcly plug this in? thanks

our stock should only have 6 pin/slots, unless a previous owner has soldered on a 1G dsm plug, which in that case it should plug right in.

 

In the case you are mistaken, and do have the 6 pin stock plug, easiest way is to trim the plug on the translator...
