zedman Posted June 20, 2012 Report Share Posted June 20, 2012 So....I got the engine put back in the Starion and buttoned back up. Only thing is, there's a spout on the oil pan (passenger side), and I don't know what's supposed to hook to it. It's probably about 5/16" diameter, and looks similar to where the dipstick tube fits on the other side, except it looks like a hose should be slid over it. So...as this car doesn't have such parts, what's the best thing for me to do? Should I cap it, relying on the vent on the valve cover to relieve crankcase pressures?
