mikejlamp06 Posted May 5, 2012 Report Share Posted May 5, 2012 Hi, I searched for this topic and really didnt find a good anser for this question.sorry if im bringing up old news ok so this is my question I have an 86 starquest and i want to put the 88-89 starquest (i believe the 240) flywheel, pressure plate, and clutch on it.Can I just bolt that stuff on or do I also need to change the clutch fork, throwout bearing, slave cylinder, etc, etc? DurbenQuest Posted May 5, 2012 Report Share Posted May 5, 2012 I think the throwout bearings are different. and i would replace the fork as well cause they can bend. and since youre in there might as well change it. slave cylinders are cheap.
