  1. Just an update. I replaced the brake booster with a new one and it fixed the problem. I cant believe I was so stumped on this. But then again I wouldnt have thought it to be the booster with a soft pedal. Thanks guys. Hope this helps someone out in the future!
  2. Yes. Ive honestly bled them enough where there is all new fluid in the lines. Im installing the new booster tomorrow so we'll see.
  3. Thanks guys. I found out my booster rod is broken. I can pull part of it out with the master unbolted. I have a new booster on its way. And ask the rubber lines are brand new. New pads and rotors. No abs and stock steel lines rust free. No leaks. Literally NO air in the lines lol. So the booster is getting replaced. Maybe the rod bends where the break is. And yeah the firewall does have some movement but its not a tremendous amount. Ill keep ya posted
  4. I should include. ABS has been deleted for years
  5. Alright this might sound stupid. But I've had an issue with a soft pedal all season. It was fine last year. I replaced the leaking master with a new one over winter and since then the pedal has been soft. That new master leaked out the rear seal so I replaced it again with the beefier looking one on rock auto and still soft. Yes I bench bled it. And ive bled the brakes multiple times and still soft. Just tonight I got my hands on a pressure bleeder and I did it on every caliper and vacuum bled every wheel AND classic bled each wheel with each corner jacked way up and ITS still SOFT. I just don't get it. Visually there are no leaks anywhere. And the fluid didn't have any little bubbles in it anymore. Its safe to say I have no air. So what can be the issue?! Im just so lost on something that should be so simple. the pedal gets solid with the car off and running its moosh. Had anyone had this issue?
  6. Ucw ill still have my 650 primary just incase it doesent tune right. But I figured id get a bigger set just incase.
  7. Just want to add. I really appreciate all the feedback good and bad. I'm happy how the car turned out and I have a few things to work out yet. But the car is running great and it's nice to be able to just drive nice without running fat or lean in spots. I can't wait to get it retuned with bigger injectors. Looking into it I think I'm going with racetronix 1225cc secondary injector and either a 650cc or 750cc primary. So I dont have to max out my injectors and tune it down.
  8. I thought the hissing was the valve seats
  9. Maybe you can tell me what kind of dyno it is by the video. He told me if anything it reads lower
  10. He was. But he said we'll go until it seems unsafe and dial the tune back
  11. Well im uploading the video to youtube now. Sorry for the quality but if yoy pause it at the correct time you can read the numbers. As for the graph photo bucket doesn't let my upload anything for some reason
  12. I want to show you guys the graph and the video. Someone help me out here
  13. Full boost was achieved fairly low. And held 11.5 once it was fully spooled at 25. We did end up turning the boost down to compensate for the higher load on the street so it had room to creep. But the majority of the hp was achieved near redline
  14. Yes Scott. Stock advance. I know the numbers seem high. But it did what it did
  15. Ucw have Facebook? I have a video as well. And could you post the graph for me?
  16. Well considering the guy who tuned it ownes the company that puts out over 1000hp cars. i trust him and his work. Believe what you want but I was there witnessing the whole thing. I will work in getting the graph posted. The power slope was great looking as well. A nice gradual slope that just about leveled out at 6300 rpm where the rev limiter is set
  17. Alright. Its actually a picture on the phone. Guy said there printers were down in the shop.
  18. Yes I have a graph but can't upload it. Wot afr at full boost held at 11.5ish. And I didn't think the injectors were going to hold up to those numbers but they did. And fuel pressure is higher but not quite to the moon. Head has mechanical rockers. Hd valve springs and retainers. 274 cam. Ported and polished. 1mm os stainless valves
  19. Yeah I know. I thought it was odd to. Im thinking its the turbo
  20. Hey guys. Just got my car Dyno tuned today and I was pretty nervous just because I don't really beat on my car since it wasn't tuned right. But the best pull it did today was 344hp and 294tq. At 25psi Mod list: Turbo lab billet 11blade td06sl2 shaft 20g Tbi delphi 650/950 2.5in ic pips Greddy big front mount Gm 3in maf and maft (zeroed out) Safc2 to tune Msd6al2 and blaster coil HyperU 8.5comp pistons Fresh head 17lb flywheel Walboro 255 Tomei afpr Plugs gapped at .32 Hallman pro mbc I'm actually really impressed with it. I was only expecting 280hp and 300tq. I'm going to upgrade my injectors to 650/1150 and hks bov since the turbo xs was leaking.
  21. Funny you said that because my grandma ran into my car this morning before I left for the dyno. Nothing that won't buff out. But still you never know.
  22. Replaced the intake mani gasket and boost leak tested it and nothing but a little vac line leak and of course rfl bov.
  23. Car was flooded. Put everything back together and started up. Went to go test for boost leaks and found the intake manifold leaking a lot of air under pressure. Glad I found it before I burn my pistons up. Im pulling off the intake now and going to silicone between both sides of the gasket and hope it does it. Then get to test for leaks in the morning before going to the dyno.. that is if everything works out in my favor for once!
  24. Yes different problem. I also noticed that the msd box led was flashing a code which I just found out mean low voltage. But that could be due to cranking a lot.
