I really like animals, dogs especially.

I have a childhood friend I've known since grade school that raises blue heelers.

They are super intelligent and protective of their owners.

This is really a touching story but, where is the guy that it happened to?

I’ve searched the internet forums and found a couple postings but they are both second hand accounts.

I see pictures of a dog

How does this make it real?

I can believe that it happened I have heard of these types of mistakes being made.

But it is the timing of this that makes me suspicious.

You know about the "Trayvon Martin" shooting, and the "Abdul Arian" shooting in Los Angeles.

Both of those shootings are very sensitive because of the media attention and the ethnicity of the victims, both incidents could be thought of as being triggers for civil unrest, wanting justice for helpless victims of violence.

Both those incident could have been planned for effect for just that reason.

It would be the equivalent of having a suicide bomber attack if civil unrest broke out because of an emotional issue being created that is fanned by flames of the media and citizenry that is already agitated because of the economic slump.

A perfect example was the Rodney King trial in Los Angeles, after the verdict was read there was wide spread rioting.

Now in TX you won't ( as likely) get sympathy for Muslims or African Americans but you will for a man's dog or his horse.

I'm not saying it isn't true it just needs more substance like a copy of a police report.

Maybe that’s what needs to be brought to the attention of the dog’s (Cisco’s) owner and his friends.

Since there was an incident a police report has to be filed and a copy of the report will be the evidence and the submission for a court case and the media, not some random posting from unverifiable sources.

Think about the reasons why someone would try to publish a story about a cop killing a guy’s dog, and call on justice for it.

Just be aware there are twisted people that would use our sympathies against us, and the creation of civil unrest is a tactical advantage to opposing governments and has been used in other countries, to a great extent.

Not that this alone would create this but in conjunction to the other stories each opposite geographical locations, which in timing to these events is what also makes this suspicious

Posting a story such as that is irresponsible since the proper channels have not been fully utilized.

It happed today (Sunday) supposedly.

edit (Sorry yesterday the 14th)

If the justice system breaks down, then we all have a lot more to worry about than just having our pets shot.

Someone can’t legitimately call for justice if they haven’t attempted to use the system yet.

I'm sorry but what do you mean by real?

Real like the website?

Here is a mainstream source.

http://abcnews.go.co...ory?id=16150874

I don't personally like ABC news but it gives a un bias account by telling both sides.

Here is part of of the State of texas health and safety code and listed is the section concerning restraint requirments.

How about 4 of july celebrations?

you know the american revolution?

In huntington beach ca a few years ago they had a problem with public drinking on the 4th of july

it got so bad that police were charging into peoples homes handcuffing them and dragging them away,

arresting them for drinking in public,

not that they were in public, they were on their own property inside their own homes but that they were standing in front of their windows with their curtains open and could be seen from the sidewalk.

I might be judgemental in my observations but in reality those judgements have already been made,

in essence we are all restrained by laws. I'm not suggesting the cop was right in his judgement,

but he was in his legal rights.

If someone wanted to make a difference they would petition for new laws for regulations regarding decision process of law enforcement professionals and their protocols, a camera handles the proof of accountability now but the decision process would need to be spelled out.

That is probably why eventually we'll have I'robots herding us like cattle.

The person who called 911 should probably be held for that. Domestics are scary, cop might've been jumpy. Doesn't make it right, no...but, the person who called 911 gave the wrong address. Hows the cop supposed to know that?

Dog had complaints against it.

If a dog charges me, I am not going to wait and see if the dog will stop just shy of attacking, I will defend myself. Safer to put it down on the spot than find out later you now have rabies.
