zactek
Metal diamond plate would LOOK cool but be slippery when wet. I've done rubber diamond plate for front and rear and haven't had traction problems, lolhttp://img259.imageshack.us/img259/6792/rebuildpics030wq3.jpg Zack K. kidjc
They make floor mats of metal diamond plate to fit/drop right in, but if I read correctly; you're talking about floor pan replacement correct? I've used it on an other vehicle, not a Quest. & Yes... under certain circumstances traction can be a problem, but is kinda kool looking! There is someone on her that has most of his engine compartment done in diamond plate/ can't recall off hand who it is? It too looks pretty tight.
