xXkyleXx Posted October 30, 2011 Report Share Posted October 30, 2011 hey guys for some reason im not getting fuel past the fuel injectors ive tested the injectors and they spray replaced the ballast resistor pack knock box and injector clips and a ecu the only thing about the ecu is that its an 83 and my starion is an 84 i cannot figure out why it woul;d do this it ran fine and then started doing this any help would be appreciated. Indiana Posted October 31, 2011 Report Share Posted October 31, 2011 You can't put an 83 ECU into an 84 the pinouts are different. Your ECU is only for fuel, the ignition system must work then the ECU must receive power and the tach signal before the injectors will fire. Does it run on starter fluid? Power for the ECU runs through the fuse link in the holder behind the battery that has "ECI" printed up the side of the holder. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
