New2quest
I recently "inherited" an '88 starion and it's been sitting for a couple years. After 4+ hours of washing off the pollen today, it's surprisingly clean both inside and out and rust is only in one small location. The fuel tank however was the reason it sat. It's got several holes. I'm looking for a "clean" fuel tank. Please send PM me with cost and shipping to NH. Thanks.
New2quest
Actually, I'm going to assume it needs a pump (JIC) so if anyone is selling a tank and pump (working and in good condition) please PM me with a price. I'm not sure about the filter but if you have an extra one lying around I'll entertain a price on that too. Thanks.
helrazr70
I think I have a perfect one. Shipping is a killer though.
New2quest
What would shipping be to 03242, NH? And relative cost of the tank? I'm debating trying to remove the tank and have the bottom re-welded but finding the right guy to do it around here is pretty tough. I haven't seen the inside of the tank to see whether or not it can even be treated (3 part coating treatment) so I'm going off of another mechanic's word. If I can get a tank, great. If it runs too much, ...I'll have to figure something out.
