rocheman1
I have an 88 Quest with a fairly new build when I bought it. On the coldest day of the year it was about 15 Degrees outside, and when I started the car it immediately died. Long story short is that I had it towed to a shop and they said when they got it started it was burning coolant, like a head gasket issue. But they couldn't confirm it with a compression test, or coolant in the oil, etc. When I got it home I found that the exhaust manifold was completely full of coolant. I have tested the turbo, and don't believe that any seals are bad there. Just not sure where to go now, and have too many other projects. I sure would appreciate a good reference for a very competent mechanic. I'm in Fayetteville, Ga. 30215. thx

rocheman1
Hey Frenchi...Stockbridge is only about 40 minutes from me. Do you know any really good mechanics that would be willing to take a look at my Quest?

Starfighterpilot
I live up in Lawrenceville which is on the opposite side of Atlanta from you. I do not know how good of a mechanic I am, but PM me your number and we can hook up. Grant, pure_insanity, lives in Loganville and he has done a lot of Starquest work too. For What It's Worth.
