what does this wire do

so, I seem to remember removing this wire while I was removing a bunch of other wires from the car, however I can't seem to find its function now. I looked all through the factory service manual and it is no where to be found. There is a wire on the ignition switch side of connector b-48, its black with a red stripe. I know that the Black and Yellow wire in the middle bottom pin location is black and red on the automatics, but its labeled as the same pin location on the manual. I've attached a picture. The wire I'm talking about is the unlabeled wire in all of the following pictures with the red arrow.

anyone know what it was?

I removed the a/c system, abs system, cruise control, and a bunch of other small things here and there.

it would appear in that picture, that the wire I'm taking about is missing as well. Note it is present on the ignition key, and on the female connector, however on the male connector there should be another wire behind the black wire with a white stripe. I don't see it. Makes me feel better about not having one on my car, but I just wonder why they ran the wire in the first place if it does nothing at all.

I'm talking about the green wire on his turbo timer harness. This goes to nothing on the car side of the harness, while it connects to the igition key and gets power when the key is in the start position. But it doesn't ever charge anything in the factory set up.

According to the diagram it looks like a second positive starter output. Some vehicle's ECM/ECU may have required this output to start properly. The key tumbler assembly may have been a shared part between a different model of car.
