Dred_85.5_TSI
yeah it seems pretty straight forward to do so I'm anticipating no issues. I just want some pics to update my build thread

Dred_85.5_TSI
will do, plus I'm pretty sure this is the first clutch fan car to get one of these. I could be wrong though.
BrazilBoy
will do, plus I'm pretty sure this is the first clutch fan car to get one of these. I could be wrong though.I think your right Derek...are you going to run a shroud...
helrazr70
I had planned to do this swap a few weeks ago when I was looking for a radiator. It seems like a pretty good fit. When I get home I want to look at the radiator in the car I just bought and figure out what kind it is. It is a nice thick 3 core. I am sure the original owner dropped a bundle on it... Take lots of pics and do a thorough write-up on the swap. It would make a great FAQ topic!
Dred_85.5_TSI
Thats the plan! As to whether I'll run a shroud or not I'll have to look at how it will match up to the new radiator, but I may wind up running a flex fan eventually anyway so we'll see. I am planning on securing the radiator to the car in some fashion though so I may be able to incorporate a way to mount the shroud with that.
