kush_life
well I find it hard to believe that there is no search results relevant for advise with installing a new turbo when I searched "installing turbo" but anyway my question goes like this..... This will be my second 18g install on a quest... the last time being 6 or 7 years ago when I was roughly 18 yrs old and it was fairly easy as I remember. I will be installing a new 18g from FP tomorrow and would like any input or maybe a quick step by step write up for an install including how to prep for oil feed before starting the motor on the fresh turbo. I understand this is truly a newbie question for such an easy to swap but I'm just nervous I'll forget something and F it up. Thanks
89PalermoSHP
i would pour oil in the top hole and spin the wheel until it come out the bottom. bolt it on and go. also, i have a round stone i prepped the mating surfaces with. a new oil feed line is strongly recommended.
