jtmuncher
I just bought my car back after two years. It needs some maintenance. I was wondering if there is a way toutilize the 3000gt brakes on our cars. I remember someone working on a bracket at one time but searching didn't find anything specific. Also, if anyone has the stock muffler laying around please let me know. Thanks
dmyers151
Yes and no. Extensive modifications need to be done and custom brackets need to be made. Also, I don't believe they fit behind stock wheels. 3k GT Calipers
BC_99
I have discussed this with a friend several times and we may try it out sometime, but havent even found any calipers yet. I have a couple of stock mufflers here that are just sitting in the shed. $25 plus shipping sound fair? BC_99
v8starion
http://www.starquestclub.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=103438&hl=3kgt&st=20 http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=280550352430&viewitem=&sspagename=STRK%3AMESELX%3AIT They will fit on stock rotors. It will require pad shims because of rotor thickness. It will also take 18mm of wheel spacer to to clear the outer pisons. Good luck
jtmuncher
Got it...doesnt seem like something I want to get into. The last thing I need is another project car. Anyhow, it seems it is also going to need the front struts rebuilt or replaced. So I'll have to do some research on that as well. Thanks dmyers, that car is unbeleivable. Well done!
