88 Starion - future plans for a 4G63 swap

purchased two Starions this past weekend.

here's the 88 palermo gray. mounts are already there for the engine swap, so why change a plan already in progress.

got the car from Titanium02, thanks man! that's him and BlowinUp54B's in the first pic just before towing her home.

she needs a good bath and some attention.... 4 years is too long to go without!

i haven't checked the carfax but it's the original paint and the body panels line up nicely.

the header panel is in perfect condition.

all very easy to repair, with the exception of the field mouse. i plan on going all out on restoring this one... she's deserving!

 

the 88 red conquest in my sig has been wrecked pretty badly from what i can tell, and the body work is poor

so i don't mind daily driving her.... actually i quite enjoy it.

i put an average of 3000 to 4000 miles per month on her...

she was ridden about 80,000 miles in her first 21 years and nearly 45,000 in the past 15 months since i've had her.

 

i really love this palermo gray color!

it changes from gray to bronze to gold... depending on the angle. can hardly wait to give her a fresh coat!
